![]() ![]() All in all, Jagged Alliance - Deadly Games is a tremedously entertaining and strategically very demanding game that will chain you to the screen for hours. You will encounter various landscapes (snow, forrest, rocky, jungle, desert, seaside etc.) so you won't get bored with the scenery. The graphics are beautiful, much better than in the original Jagged Alliance. If you like what you've heard so far, you can be certain that this is only half of what's waiting for you. So, I think you got the picture more or less. If you haven't played this game before, I strongly recommend that you take the tutorial to get used to the commands and keys. You will be provided with a limited number of turns for every mission, so efficiency will be an important factor as well. Smart and tactical use of those points will be crucial. Every soldier will have a certain amount of turn points that he/she will spend on movement and various actions during the mission. Missions will consist of various objectives, ranging from executions, to evacuation to salvaging operations. Before every mission you will get a map on which you can see how the terrain looks like and decide how to arrange your troops. Every crewmember will come with a set of gear that you can change in between the missions. ![]() You can train them in various aspects, and they will get expirience and skill through combat as well. However, your soldier's characteristics will not remain static. That is why you should always have a balanced team of experts. Team choice will be very important as the money will drain faster than you think. ![]() Of course, these stats will be proportional to the sallary. They range from dexterity, health, agility, wisdom, marksmanship, medical, explosives and mechanical skills. Each of these characters have a different set of characteristics and atributes. When you start the game, you get to choose a team of men and women that you will control in combat. Only this time you fight terrorists instead of aliens. Jagged Alliance is a turn-based strategy game, in concept very similar to UFO: Enemy Unknown. ![]()
